The RES Titanium Exhaust System on my Lexus IS500 is nothing short of exceptional. This system features four distinct modes. Valves open, valves closed, Adaptive, and Adaptive+. The versatility allows me to tailor the exhaust sound perfectly to any driving condition. In the Adaptive mode, the valves stay closed until the engine reaches 3k rpm, offering a balance between subtlety and performance. The Adaptive+ mode takes this a step further, where the valves incrementally open as the rpm increases, enhancing the driving experience as you accelerate. The sound is phenomenal across all modes; deep and powerful, highlighting the robust nature of the Lexus V8. There is also a significant weight savings compared to the stock exhaust. Installation by RR-Racing was professional, maximizing the system’s performance and ensuring everything operated seamlessly. For Lexus owners looking to elevate their vehicle’s acoustic profile and performance, this exhaust system is an absolute must.
